Worcester Prep Students Enter 2009 National Merit Scholarship Program

Worcester Prep juniors Alexis D. Pedigo, Lewes, Ross D. Roessler, Bishopville, and Dominique L. Kunciw, Ocean Pines, met all the requirements to enter the 2009 National Merit® Scholarship Program. Worcester Prep AP Biology teacher Tom Westcott congratulates Tom Barranger, Dagsboro, on his acceptance into the University of Maryland College of Chemical & Life Sciences Jump Start 2008 program. Funding for the program comes from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Barranger will engage in a weeklong summer science immersion program targeting Animal Science and Physiology.
