BERLIN- After suffering back-to-back losses to Somerset County foes Crisfield and Washington to start the second half of the season, the Decatur boys’ varsity basketball team got back on the winning track on Tuesday with a decisive 65-36 win over Worcester County rival Snow Hill on Tuesday.
The Seahawks lost to the Crabbers, 71-54, last Thursday in the first regular season game back from the holiday break although they did play in the Governor’s Challenge the week before. Against Washington on Monday, Decatur lost again, 78-71, as Jesse Engle and Tyler Hunter each scored 23 points.
On Tuesday, the Seahawks got back on the winning track with a 65-36 thrashing of Snow Hill. Colin Gaynor led Decatur with 13 points, while Hunter scored 12 and Engle added 11 points.
