Decatur Girls Win Two, Drop One

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity softball team sandwiched a pair of wins this week around a 3-2 loss to Parkside.

The Seahawks beat Washington, 22-1, last Wednesday, then fell to Parkside, 3-2, on Friday. Decatur then rebounded with another win over Snow Hill, 5-4, on Monday. Against Washington, Jessica Iacona had three hits, scored three and drove in two, while Amanda Parsons had three hits, drove in three and scored four times. In the win over Snow Hill, Iacona was the winning pitcher, striking out eight and collecting three hits. Jessica Bunting also had two hits against the Eagles.
