OCEAN CITY — A special flag pole dedication is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8 at BJ’s on the Water at 75th Street bayfront.
Co-owner Billy Carder, a dedicated supporter of military veterans, recently received a flag pole for his long-time business and it has been decided to have a special veteran dedication to celebrate the new addition.
The flag pole will be dedicated by a number of veterans from the area including Synepuxent Post #166 American Legion, First State Detachment of the US Marine Corp League, OC VFW Post #8296, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1091 OCMD, Squadron #166 Sons of the American Legion , American Legion Riders Chapter #166 and Unit #166 American Legion Auxiliary.
All veterans are invited to attend the event as well as the general public.
