Seahawks Drop Pair, Skid Hits Four

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity basketball team continued its recent skid with a pair of losses this week.

The Seahawks fell to Worcester County rival Snow Hill, 59-55, in a tight game last Thursday on the road. Ernest Shockley led Decatur with 13 points, while Devin McKenzie contributed 12. Back in action against Bennett on Tuesday, the Seahawks fell to the Clippers, 84-54. Keyon Eley led with 22 points.

The pair of losses ran the Seahawks’ losing streak to four games, and six including a pair of losses in the Governor’s Challenge holiday tournament late last month. Overall, Decatur’s regular season record now stands at 3-5. The Seahawks will face Mardela at home on Tuesday.
