Military Teams Highlight 7th Annual OC Air Show

OCEAN CITY — The return of the U.S. Military teams highlights this year’s Ocean City Air Show, the seventh installment of the annual June event.

This year’s event will feature some of the country’s top military and civilian performers, acrobatic demonstrations, formation flight and parachute teams. Rehearsal day is Friday, June 13 with official performances planned for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, June 14 and 15.

General viewing is free from the beach starting three blocks to the north and south of the Show Center, which is from 14th to 17th streets on the beach.

Schedule of Events

Friday, June 13

8 a.m.: Breakfast with the performers, Layton’s 16th Street

12:30 p.m.: Air Show Preview, Show Center between 15th and 16th streets

7 p.m.: Air Show Take Off Party, Cowboy Coast, 17th Street

Saturday, June 14

8 a.m.: Breakfast with the performers, Layton’s 16th Street

9 a.m.: Display Village and Premium Viewing Open, 13th to 19th streets on the Boardwalk

11 a.m.: Flight Line Club VIP and Hospitality Chalets Open, Show Center Beach, 14th to 17th streets

12:30 p.m.: Air Show begins, featuring U.S. Navy Seals Leap Frogs, Gary Ward & Greg Connell head-to-head, Sean Carroll in the Yak-9, Panchito B-25 Bomber flight, U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier Demo, Red Bull Air Force, Gary Ward in the MX-2, Geico Skytypers and Greg Connell in the Pitts Model 12

3 p.m.: U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds performance

4 p.m.: Air Show Happy Hour, open to the public, Surfin’ Betty’s Pool Bar, 16th Street

7 p.m.: Air Show Performer Event, open to the public, Ocean Downs, featuring Navy Seals Night Jump

Sunday, June 15

8 a.m.: Breakfast with the performers, Layton’s 16th Street

9 a.m.: Display Village and Premium Viewing Open, 13th to 19th streets on the Boardwalk
