BIS Uncovers Mathematical Magic

In honor of Constitution Day, sixth grade students in Jennifer Garton’s math class at Berlin Intermediate School uncovered the mathematical magic of Benjamin Franklin’s square, by finding the patterns within the numbers and finally connecting the numbers with yarn in order to see the symmetrical geometric design. Above, a beautiful completed Ben Franklin Square is shown off by sixth grader Ravyn Brink.
