Kiwanis Donate $1200 to Worcester County G.O.L.D

Kiwanis Priority One Program Chair Dick Jacobs is pictured updating the members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City on the donations made to Worcester County G.O.L.D. (Giving Ones Lives Dignity). Kiwanis annually donates at least $1,200 to Worcester County G.O.L.D. He is holding one of the collection cans stationed throughout the county.

Recent Worcester Prep Grad Named Engineering Scholar

Ross Roessler, a 2009 graduate of Worcester Preparatory School, has been named a Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholar. Pine’eer Craft Club Regonizes Local Artist in July

Linda Brindley displays her detailed counted cross-stitch hand crafted items, which earned her recognition in the Pine’eer Craft Club for the month of July. Her guest towels and decorative pillows are available for purchase every Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pine’eer Craft and Gift Shop at White Horse Park in Ocean Pines.

Pocomoke Elementary Recognized by National School Award Program

Pocomoke Elementary School has received recognition in the Panasonic National School Change Award Program for the second consecutive year.
