Berlin Intermediate School’s Builders Club, a club of Kiwanis International, was chartered last weekend and the club officers were installed. The Kiwanic Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City helped welcome 52 students as charter members of the new club. Snow Hill Elementary School last month hosted a “Donuts for Dad” event, which promotes the importance of a father’s involvement in the education of their children. A local veteran, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently dropped off a 2003 Harley-Davidson 100-anniversary motorcycle at the VFW Memorial Post 8296 in Ocean City.
