Buckingham Elementary School third graders recently explored the biography genre with a teacher-coordinated program that involved each student reading an autobiography, designing a biographical sketch of the figure and dressing up like the figures studied. Mikayla Dischinger, third grade at Ocean City Elementary School, recently earned first place recognition in the Worcester County Science Fair for non-experimental individual with her “Suction Cups Go Wild”.
In the first-grade non-experimental individual category, Quinn Ebaugh, 7, of West Ocean City, won first place for his human digestive system, which featured a digestive system made from tubing as well as a comic book.
