Showell Elementary

Physical education teachers Robin Wolinski and Scott Bailey had 125 Showell Elementary students jump rope to raise money for the fight against heart disease and stroke recently. Their efforts raised over $6500. Pictured above, Liabrooke Leggour does her part.

Worcester Prep

Geneva Sampson’s Grade 5 Reading Class at Worcester Prep, after reading about teatime in one of the novels on the class reading list, visited Tea by the Sea, the tea shop in Berlin. Elks 2007-2008 Americanism Poster Contest

Riley Mears, a 2nd grader at Showell Elementary, won 1st place in the Elks 2007-2008 Americanism Poster Contest, “My Favorite Symbol of America” for ages 6 & 7 sponsored by the Ocean City, Maryland Elks Lodge #2645.  She also won 1st place at the South East District Level where she competed with over 600 poster entries….
