Ocean City/Berlin Elks Drug Education Awards Presented

Presenting Ocean City/Berlin Elks Drug Education awards for essays and posters is Edward “Pete” Peterson, Fenwick Island, Scholarship Chairman, Maryland, Delaware and D.C. Elks Association. Award winners were, from left, Halie Murray-Davis, Lewes, essay winner; Rachel Berry, Bishopville, poster winner; and Grace Tunis, Berlin, poster winner. The girls attend Worcester Preparatory School.

Worcester Prep Celebrates Roman Gods and Goddesses

Alyssa Alicea, Seaford, and Sarah Smith, Salisbury created a life-size portrait of Aurora, Roman goddess of the Dawn for their 8th grade Latin class project at Worcester Prep.  They invited fellow students to get their pictures taken with Aurora on presentation day.  The presentations culminated with a feast in mock-honor of the Roman gods.

OCES May Student Of The Month Luncheon
