Sophie Haines, Morgan Echols and Ryan Hall from Jennifer Fohner’s pre-lindergarten class at Ocean City Elementary School are planting their own grass seed. Students will spend three weeks taking care of their grass seed while making observations and predictions as part of the pre-kindergarten curriculum of “Growing Things.”

In observance of Arbor Day, Snow Hill Elementary School and the Worcester County Department of Recreation and Parks held a celebration at the school, featuring skits and songs performed by the second grade. Above are second graders Zachary Geesaman, Sarai Warrick, and Keegan Gould.

Jennifer Fohner’s pre-kindergarten classroom at Ocean City Elementary enjoyed having the extra help while creating dirt cups. Addy Rippin participated in Take Our Daughter’s and Son’s to Work Day, working along side her mother, Sandy Rippin, an Educational Assistant at Ocean City Elementary.
