Area Students Compete in Wicomico County Chess Tourney
Worcester Prep’s Lower School Chess Club and several students from Middle School participated in the Wicomico County Chess Club Tournament. Worcester Prep Eighth Grader Wins Oratorical Competition
Razaak Eniola, an eighth grade student at Worcester Preparatory School, receives a plaque in his honor from Optimist Oratorical Chairman Richard Caprone. The plaque was awarded for Razaak’s achievements in the 2009 Optimist Oratorical competition. He placed first in the state competition and received a scholarship award of $1,500 in addition to other prizes.
Worcester Prep Family Presents Program About Iran to Students
Worcester Prep parent Jill ZiaShakeri, her sister-in-law Monir Mojtabaei and her children Aria, fifth grade, and Maya, fourth grade, presented a program at the Berlin school about Iran. 4th Grader Plays Guitar on Performance Day at OC Elementary
Maggie Bunting, a fourth-grade student at Ocean City Elementary School, performed for her class during “Performance Day” in Mr. Rick Chapman’s music class. Students prepare and perform many different types of acts for their classmates either alone or in groups. Students thoroughly enjoy these special days.
