BIS 6th Grader Wins National Geographic Bee
Omar Hernandez, a sixth grade student at Berlin Intermediate School, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee recently and a chance to win a $25,000 college scholarship. Sean Corcoran finished in second place, while Patrick Reid was the third place winner.
