OC Elementary Students “Growing Things”

Sophie Haines, Morgan Echols and Ryan Hall from Jennifer Fohner’s pre-lindergarten class at Ocean City Elementary School are planting their own grass seed. Students will spend three weeks taking care of their grass seed while making observations and predictions as part of the pre-kindergarten curriculum of “Growing Things.”

OC Elementary Holds Take Your Kids to Work Day

Jennifer Fohner’s pre-kindergarten classroom at Ocean City Elementary enjoyed having the extra help while creating dirt cups. Addy Rippin participated in Take Our Daughter’s and Son’s to Work Day, working along side her mother, Sandy Rippin, an Educational Assistant at Ocean City Elementary. With Addy Rippin are Milena Olerta, Anna Berges and Morgan Echols.

SHDS Students Head to DC for Conference

OC Elementary Students Send Out ‘Flat Stanley’ Projects

The second grade enrichment class at Ocean City Elementary School recently finished reading “Flat Stanley.” Each child created their own Stanley and then he was sent to a friend or relative. Buckingham Elementary Students Give Bio Speeches

Buckingham Elementary School’s third graders were all smiles after their recent biography speeches. Each child researched individuals during an extended writing project and enjoyed dressing up to share their information.
