Stephen Decatur High School’s Advanced Placement Art Class has been working on a stained glass project since October. A reception was held last month dedicating the new pieces that will hang above the school’s student parking lot doorways. Omar Hernandez, a sixth grade student at Berlin Intermediate School, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee recently and a chance to win a $25,000 college scholarship. Sean Corcoran finished in second place, while Patrick Reid was the third place winner.
