DAR Historic Preservation Recognition Award Presented To Edward P. Phillips, Jr.

Pat Arata, historic preservation committee chair for the General Levin Winder Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), recently presented a DAR Historic Preservation Recognition award to Edward P. Phillips, Jr. for his long-standing dedication to historic preservation and volunteer work at the community level. Phillips was recommended for the award after giving a presentation to the chapter about his restoration of an 18th century home located in the Snow Hill vicinity known as Nunn’s Green.
