Max Huber, Worcester Prep Advanced Placement Biology Student, Selected To Attend Howard Hughes Medical Institute Jump Start Program

Worcester Prep Advanced Placement Biology teacher Tom Westcott is shown congratulating junior, Max Huber, who was selected to attend the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Jump Start Program this summer. Huber is one of 50 high school students invited to participate in the weeklong summer science immersion program at the University of Maryland. Developed through a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Jump Start program theme this year is biomedical science. Students will learn how cellular and molecular techniques are changing the way we diagnose and treat disease.
