Decatur Girls Right Ship With Pair Of Wins

BERLIN- After three straight two-goal losses, Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team righted the ship this week with a pair of comfortable wins.

Starting back on April 8, the Seahawks lost three straight close ones including a 9-7 loss to North Caroline, an 8-6 loss to Queen Anne’s and another 9-7 loss to Kent Island. However, the Decatur girls have since bounced back with a pair of wins including an 11-6 win over Cambridge-South Dorchester last Wednesday, followed by a 19-1 rout of Wicomico at home on Tuesday.
