Decatur Softball Win Streak At Three

BERLIN – Stephen Decatur’s varsity softball team ran its current win streak to three with a 16-1 rout of Wicomico at home on Monday.

The Seahawks started the 2019 season with three straight wins over Wicomico, Bennett and Northampton before dropping their first game of the season to Colonel Richardson, 12-1, at home last Monday.

Since then, the Decatur girls have now run off three straight wins to improve to 6-1 on the season. The latest streak began with an 8-3 win over North Caroline on the road last Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, the Seahawks stayed hot with a 10-4 win over Bayside South rival Parkside. Back in action on Monday, the Seahawks blew past Wicomico, 16-1, on a one-hitter by Abby Wesche.
