Seahawks Rout Sabres, Improve To 2-1

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team beat Saints Peter and Paul last Friday for their second straight win against a non-conference opponent.

The Seahawks opened the season with a tough loss to Cape Henlopen, but since have won two straight to improve to 2-1. The Decatur girls beat crosstown rival Worcester Prep, 15-8, last Wednesday, followed by an 18-5 win over Saints Peter and Paul last Friday. It was the fifth straight win for the Seahawks over the Sabres.

The Seahawks now enter the meat of their conference schedule with a road game against Easton yesterday, followed by a home game against Kent Island on Friday. Decatur hits the road again on Monday for a game against North Caroline.
