Seahawks Fall To Chesapeake, 69-42

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team fell to host Chesapeake-Anne Arundel, 69-42, on Tuesday to bow out of the state 3A-East region championships.

The Seahawks fell behind early and trailed 38-24 at the half on the road. Chesapeake expanded its lead throughout the second half and pulled away for the 69-42 win. The loss did little to tarnish a successful season for the Seahawks, who ended with an 11-9 mark but won six of their last seven regular season games.
