Decatur Girls Rout Pocomoke, Improve To 1-1

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team beat county rival Pocomoke, 56-32, on the road on Tuesday to pick up its first win of the season.

The Seahawks started the season last week with a 50-35 loss to Bayside North power Queen Anne’s. On Tuesday, the Decatur girls got in the win column with a 56-32 win over Pocomoke on the road. Sarah Engle and Jess Janney led the way with 13 points each, while Sofia Gordy pitched in 10 points.
