Becky Kelly

Becky was an active member of Granger United Methodist Church, where she spent time teaching Sunday school and volunteering with a wide array of church activities. She was also actively involved with the Medina Hospital Auxiliary, chairing the Cotillion Ball one year. This was close to her heart, because in high school, she attended the Cotillion Ball with her future husband, Bob.

Becky fondly remembered her time as a cheerleader at Highland High School and enjoyed traveling throughout the country and Europe with Bob as he coached AAU Basketball for Cleveland Basketball Club. In her adult life, she greatly enjoyed her time spent sewing and quilting with her sister and their close friends; and she cherished her time spent with family and friends in Ocean City.

Above all else, Becky will be remembered as someone who gave all that she had to other people, thinking of their needs before her own. This love was shown most evidently in the way that she cared for her family, both near and far.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Bob; children, Drew (Tiffany) Miller, Helene Llory, Sabine Teboul, Mario Zaldivar, Carlos Bayo, Jan Jagla, Robertas Javtokas, Donatas Zavackas, Aly Samabaly, Alassane Kouyate, Ibrahim Konate and Gabriel Garcia; grandchildren, Ethan and Emersen Miller, Kadia, Aichata, and Jordan Kouyate, Safina, Adriella and Altesse Samabaly; eight other international grandchildren; siblings Chick (Terri) Newberry and  Leanne (Jack) Spencer; and aunt and uncle, Harry (Allene) Weibel.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents as well as her precious grandson, Gabriel R. Miller.

Services were held this past week at Waite Funeral Home 765 N. Court Street Medina, Ohio 44256 with interment at Granger-Fairview Cemetery in Medina, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Gabriel R. Miller Scholarship Fund c/o The Salisbury School, 6279 Hobbs Rd., Salisbury, Md. 21804.
