Seahawks Fall To Easton 28-0

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity football team dropped its fourth straight against tough Bayside North opponents last weekend, falling to Easton, 28-0, on the road last Saturday.

In a rare Saturday afternoon game, the Seahawks quickly fell behind the Warriors, 7-0, just two minutes into the game. Easton added two more touchdowns in the first half and took a 21-0 lead into halftime. A third quarter touchdown by the Warriors closed out the 28-0 win for Easton.

With the loss, the Seahawks’ record fell to 2-5 after starting the season 2-1. The four straight losses have come against the always-tough Bayside North school. Decatur played Parkside in a rare Thursday game last night which was played too late to be included in this edition. The Seahawks face Bennett at home next Friday before the regular season finale against Worcester County rival Snow Hill to close it out.
