National American Legion Auxiliary Sponsors Americanism Essay Contest For Grades 3-12

Each year, the National American Legion Auxiliary sponsors an Americanism Essay Contest for students in grades 3-12. This year’s theme for the essay was, “How does learning about government and our America help you become a future guardian of the liberties of our country?” Winners from Ocean City Elementary School were, from left, Melih Unal, third place; Ksenia Drakos, second place; and Aleksey Klimins, first place.
