Decatur Boys Complete Stunning Comeback

BERLIN – Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity lacrosse team closed out an up-and-down season on a high note last weekend, beating rival Parkside, 11-8 after trailing the Rams by five goals late in the game.

The Seahawks appeared to be headed to a loss in the regular season finale last Friday and trailed the Rams, 8-3, with time running down before a launching a remarkable comeback. Decatur scored eight answered goals in the final minutes to pull out the stunning 11-8 comeback win.

The Seahawks struggled at times during the season, but won three of their last four.
