BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity basketball team cruised past Arcadia, 79-23, in a non-conference game on Tuesday to improve to 12-1 on the season.
The Seahawks enjoyed another strong week in their “unfinished business” season, beating Parkside on the road, 79-50, last Thursday, before edging Wicomico, 57-52, last Saturday on the road in a game made up from January 10, which was postponed due to the snow storm. The 57-52 win over Wicomico was the closest of the season for the Seahawks, who have cruised through their schedule unscathed for the most part.
Decatur’s only loss on the season came during the Governor’s Challenge holiday tournament to one of the top teams from Virginia. On Tuesday, the Seahawks kept the ball rolling with the 79-23 win over Arcadia in a non-conference game.
