Decatur Girls Stay On Major Roll

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity basketball team stayed on a major roll this week, routing Arcadia, 50-34 on the road on Tuesday to improve to 11-1 on the season.

Amaya Mumford led the Seahawks with 18 points, while Lexie VanKirk added 16 points. The Seahawks’ big week also included a 51-29 win over Parkside last Thursday. Decatur’s record now stands at 11-1, its only loss coming during a split of two games at the Governor’s Challenge during the holiday break.
