Ocean Pines resident Anna Foutlz was the recipient of the 2016 American Award at the Columbus Gala, held on Oct. 22 at the Valley Mansion in Hunt Valley. The Columbus Gala is sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Maryland of the Order Sons of Italy in America. The award is given annually to an individuate showing extraordinary performance in public and private endeavors which benefits his/her community, charitable causes and credits the entire Italian American community.
