OCEAN CITY — Four Pennsylvania men were arrested after an early morning burglary at a downtown Ocean City residence on the Fourth of July after police were able to track them through a stolen credit card.
Around 5:40 a.m. on Monday, Ocean City Police responded to the area of 12th Street and Dayton Lane for a reported residential burglary. The residents of the burglarized unit awoke to find the residence in disarray and multiple personal items stolen. It was later determined over $3,500 in electronics, cash and other miscellaneous items had been stolen including one wallet.
During the investigation, OCPD officers learned one of the victim’s stolen credit cards were used at a restaurant in the resort. OCPD officer obtained surveillance video from the restaurant and eventually located the suspects in the area of 10th Street and Dayton Lane around 1:20 p.m. that afternoon.
During a search of the suspects’ vehicle, OCPD officers located several items reported stolen during the Dayton Lane burglary earlier that day along with additional items reported stolen during a separate theft incident. OCPD officers also located a large amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Four suspects were arrested including Juan Castaneda, 18, of Lancaster, Pa., who was charged with first-degree burglary, theft, possession of a replica weapon, concealing a dangerous weapon and possession of CDS with intent to distribute. Carly Davila, 23, of Lancaster, was charged with first-degree burglary, theft, possession of a replica weapon and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
Andrew Feliciano, 20, of Ephrata, Pa., was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and theft less than $10,000, and Juan Tamayo, 20, of Lancaster, was charged with theft, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of a replica weapon and concealing a dangerous weapon. Each of the four suspects was taken before a District Court Commissioner. Castaneda and Davila were transferred to the Worcester County Jail on $25,000 bonds, Tamayo was transferred to the Worcester County Jail on a $10,000 bond, and Feliciano was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
