Worcester Prep Doles Out Spring Awards

BERLIN- Worcester Prep last week handed out its spring sports awards after outstanding 2016 seasons by all of the teams.

For the boys’ varsity lacrosse team, Wade Walter was named MVP, Wyatt Richins earned the Coach’s Award and Ross Dickerson was named Most Improved. Brenner Maull was named MVP of the boys’ varsity tennis team, while Charlie Pritchard earned the Coach’s Award and Alex Choy was named Most Improved. Jack Fager was named MVP of the boys’ junior varsity lacrosse team, while the Coach’s Award went to Dakin Moore and the Most Improved Award went to Seth Lewis.

For the girls’ varsity lacrosse team, Leigh Lingo earned the MVP Award, while Grace Tunis received the Coach’s Award and Caroline Pasquariello was named Most Improved. For the varsity tennis team, Isabel Carulli was named MVP, Stormy McGuinness earned the Coach’s Award and Erika Smith was named Most Improved. For the girls’ junior varsity lacrosse team, Stevie Eppard-Annis was named MVP, Alannah Curtis earned the Coach’s Award and Hailey Merrit was named most improved.

Eight Worcester Prep seniors joined the school’s 12-Letter Club for lettering in three sports in each of their four years including Bridget Brown, Reece Brown, Grace Tunis, Wyatt Richins, Hannah Arrington, Jordan Osias, Charlie Pritchard, and Staton Whaley.
