Armed Robbery Suspect Apprehended In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY — Ocean City Police on Monday morning arrested a suspect on the Boardwalk shortly after the suspect held up a downtown store with a box cutter.

Around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, Ocean City Police responded to the 9th Street Market for a reported armed robbery. The victims told police an unidentified suspect had just robbed the store armed with a box cutter.

A description of the suspect was broadcast via police radio and the suspect was located a short time later on the Boardwalk just north of the pier. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
