Adams Super Market was said to be known for the finest in meats, produce and bakeries.
The Dinner Bell Inn, cocktail lounge and restaurant, was a new hit the summer of ’70. There were tropical gardens, a unique gift shop, entertainment nightly and cocktails, of course.
Captain Mac Simpson was nominated to serve as president of the Marlin Club.
The Ornithological Society was alarmed over a decrease in the Ocean City bird population caused by “something wrong ecologically.”
Cape Windsor had lagoon side, three bedroom homes that included a pool membership and private dockage for a low price.
According to the Maryland Department of Water Resources there was a problem with pollution increasing in the bay areas.
Davis & Lynch Fish Company served fresh fish daily in their newly modern tiled and refrigerated market.
The Majestic Hotel was a hit the summer of ’70, being one of the only hotels with a coffee shop and heated swimming pool.
