OC Elks Holds Annual Drug Awareness Competition

The Ocean City Elks Lodge held its annual Drug Awareness Competition at the area elementary and middle schools.  The lower grades were asked to write essays and the older students were assigned to make videos. The winners at Most Blessed Sacrament School for essays were Sawyer Hudson, taking second place, and Mikayla Denault, winning third place. For the videos, Marisa Alvarez won first place and Callum Neely won second place. The theme of the contest was “Just Don’t Do It.” The winners won framed certificates and Elk soccer balls.
