OC Elementary Holds Worcester County Humane Society Drive

Ocean City Elementary recently held a Worcester County Humane Society drive to collect donations for the many homeless dogs and cats who call the shelter their home. Students from all grades donated items such as dog and cat treats, kitty litter, blankets, paper towels, dry dog and cat food, kongs and peanut butter. In addition, they collected 974 cans of Friskies canned cat food with 3rd grade as the top collectors with 353 cans. Students also raised $375.11 for the shelter.
