BERLIN- Worcester Prep Athletic Director Matt McGinnis has been named the newest member of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Lacrosse-Delmarva Chapter.
On the U.S. Lacrosse-Delmarva Chapter board, McGinnis will co-chair as the high school liaison on the private school side with Dennis Keenan from Easton High School. McGinnis came to Worcester Prep as athletic director in 2013 after serving as an associate athletic director at Salisbury University, his under-graduate alma mater.
Before returning to SU, McGinnis served as head coach of the men’s lacrosse program at Dennison University, where his team went 35-13 during his tenure including a 14-3 mark and a number-10 national ranking in his final season. McGinnis lettered in three sports at SU as an undergraduate and was an assistant coach on the men’s lacrosse team that won its fourth national championship in 2003.
