OC Indoor Soccer League Heading To Playoffs

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s Adult Indoor Soccer League closed out the regular season this week with two teams, the River Soccer Club and Kirby’s, tied atop.

The regular season closed out with River and Kirby’s atop the standings with identical 11-1 marks. Sunsations finished with a 7-4-1 record, while Brazil came in at 7-5 and Renob ended up 6-5-1. The following is a quick look at some of the action from the final week of the regular season:

• River Soccer Club 5- Sunsations 4: Peter Mais scored three goals for River in the win. Tomas Medina scored two goals for Sunsations in the loss.

• Brazil 10- OC United 0: David Mesquita led Brazil’s offensive explosion with three goals.

• Renob 10- The Misfits 0: Renob got balanced scoring with Jason Stitely, Mike Cericola and Tanner East each scoring two goals in the blowout win.

• Kirby’s Pub 12- The Cure 2: Cody Webster went off with four goals, while Kyle Sterling added a hat trick as Kirby’s improved to 10-1.

• Sunsations 7- OC United 4: Ehren Mahew led all scorers with three goals for Sunsations.
