OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s Winter Adult Indoor Soccer League got off to a good start last weekend with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick look at some of the week one action:
• Renob 4- Sunsations 4: Hunter Jones led Renob with two goals, while Gilberto Casteneda scored twice for Sunsations.
• River Soccer Club 9- Misfits 0: Victor Cuenca, Pat Hughes and Peter Mais each scored two goals for River.
• Kirby’s Pub 13- OC United 3: Kirby’s got out to a fast start with a dominating 13-3 win over OC United. Rick Coker led the offensive outburst with three goals.
• Brazil 8- Renob 3: Brazil collected its second win in two days with the victory over Renob. David Mesquita, Obrizio Savia and Andre Silva each scored two goals in the win.
• Sunsations 10- The Misfits 0: Dan Todor, Claudio Mena and Gustavo Contreras each scored two goals as Sunsations blanked the Misfits.
• River Soccer Club 9- OC United 0: Also on Saturday, River blanked OC United behind two goals each from Brandt Mais, Jonathan Forte and Peter Mais.
