The Friends members of the Worcester County Commission for Women distributed summer reading materials and colorful book bags this month to first, second and third grade students at Seaside Christian Academy. The Commission’s McGuffey Bookworm Club encourages students to read throughout the summer months. On June 2, approximately 1,600 students at six elementary schools will be presented their books and book bags.
