BERLIN — Downtown Berlin will be turned over to the little ones on Saturday, April 19 for the annual Spring Celebration.
The Spring Celebration is held annually the day before Easter and brings thousands of locals and visitors together to celebrate the beginning of a new season. The fun filled family event is appropriate for kids of all ages.
The event kicks off with a Pancake Breast With The Easter Bunny at Rayne’s Reef. There will be three seatings — 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 410-641-4775. Cost is $6 for children and $8 for adults.
An Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Stephen Decatur Park at 10:30 a.m. The first heat will features ages 2-6, while the second heat will be for ages 7011.
Other festivities throughout the day include workshops, Jolly Roger amusement rides, face painting, food and craft vendors, a cupcake eating contest, games, bounce house and an antique road show.
The grand finale will be the Easter Bonnet and Mad Hatter Parade at p.m. for kids 12-and-under and adults. There will be several different categories.
