Worcester Girls Beat Dragons, Clippers

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity tennis team remained unbeaten this week with a pair of wins over Salisbury School and Bennett.

Last Friday, the Mallards blanked the Dragons, 5-0, behind strong individual and doubles performances. Tatkjana Kondraschow, Sonya Walker and Hannah Esham each won single matches for Worcester against Salisbury School. In the doubles matches, the team of Natalie Twilley and Erika Smith won their match, as did the team of Eva Park and Stormy McGuinness.

After beating Salisbury School, the Worcester girls beat visiting Parkside at home on Tuesday to improve to 5-0 on the season. The Mallards have now beaten Pocomoke, Bennett, Cambridge-South Dorchester, Salisbury School and Parkside during the streak. Worcester will host neighborhood rival Stephen Decatur this afternoon.
