FRUITLAND Apple Discount Drugs welcomed to its Fruitland store the American Pharmacists Association. Apple will be featured in a national video presentation at the American Pharmacists Association’s General Session this fall. Awards Presented

BERLIN — James C. “Bud” Church of Coldwell Banker Bud Church Realty and Randy Bendler of Bendler Realty Corp in Salisbury recently became Emeritus Status Award Recipients.

Coastal Association of REALTORS® (CAR) President, Susan Megargee presented the awards at the CAR General Membership Meeting on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Fountains in Salisbury.

In order to achieve Emeritus Status, a realtor must hold membership in the National Association of REALTORS®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® or a combination of both for a cumulative period of 40 years.

“We are honored and proud of Bud’s and Randy’s Emeritus Status Achievement,” said CAR Executive Director Sheila Dodson.  “The level of commitment and leadership involved in earning this status is evidence of each recipient’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in the real estate industry.”

Firm Welcomes Realtor

OCEAN PINES — Hileman Real Estate, Inc. has announced that Craig E. Hyatt, REALTOR® has joined the firm’s Ocean Pines office.

Hyatt first started his real estate career in Los Angeles in the 1980’s. After returning to his native Baltimore, he spent a year in commercial real estate, and then decided to pursue his passion for residential real estate. He moved to the beach 10 years ago with his wife and children.

Conference Attended

SALISBURY — Brent Miller, Managing Director of Sperry Van Ness – Miller Commercial Real Estate, recently attended the Discover Leadership Training Game Changer Program in Salisbury.

The two-day experiential training program teaches transformational skills which allow individuals to communicate more effectively, accept responsibility for their choices and actions, and uncover their hidden potential.

The class featured a number of segments focusing on topics like Responsive Listening, Cycle for Success, Comfort Zones and Discovering Your Potential. Newly trained Game Changers are people who positively transform every relationship and situation by accepting Personal Responsibility for their professional wellness.

“Discover Leadership Training has given me tools and knowledge to share with everyone at SVN-Miller which will enhance our core foundation and help us become more outcome-focused,” Miller said.
