OCEAN CITY — Tickets are selling fast for the 3rd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival at Seacrets’ Morley Hall on Friday, Feb. 21.

Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door, so buy your tickets now and save money for what promises to be a cinematic symphony for the eyes and the soul, according to organizers.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a collection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, Calif. Now in its 12th year, Wild & Scenic Film Festival focuses on films that speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet.

“Films featured at Wild & Scenic give people a sense of place,” says Jenna Brager, Tour Manager. “In our busy lives, it’s easy to get disconnected from our role in the global ecosystem. When we realize that the change we need in this world begins with us we can start making a difference. Come watch and see.”

On Friday, Feb. 21 at Seacrets, there will be an afternoon showing from 1 until 4 p.m. and an evening showing from 5 until 9 p.m. Door prizes and raffles will be awarded at intermission. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

This year, ACT has also selected a separate set of three films from the Wild & Scenic catalog geared especially for a younger audience that will be presented by the organization’s Coast Kids program on the afternoon of Feb. 22. This screening will take place at the Sarbanes Coastal Ecology Lab (adjacent to Assateague Island National Seashore’s Visitors Center) and will be preceded by a special Coast Kids workshop on renewable energy. Tickets for this special kids program will be available only at the door and are $5 for Coast Kids members and $10 for non-members.

Tickets can be purchased online now at www.ActForBays.org. For more information, please contact the ACT Office at [email protected] or 410-629-1538.
