BERLIN — At a recent sales meeting, Hileman Real Estate Inc., recognized its top producers. According to Broker/Owner, Debora Hileman, “’The Power of 2 Team’ with Bethany Drew and Terri Bradford had another record year with over $15 million in sold volume.”

Drew and Bradford became business partners in 2007 and quickly became one of the top producing teams in the Coastal Association of Realtors®.  Even in what some might call a “down market”, the team’s production continues to grow, according to Hileman.

Designation Earned

WILLARDS — Meagan Kohut, Account Executive of Atlantic/Smith, Cropper & Deeley Insurance, has successfully earned the prestigious designation of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselors).

A seven-year insurance veteran, Kohut attended five courses covering all phases of the insurance business and passed five comprehensive examinations to achieve this designation.  She has also already completed the first course towards obtaining her next designation of CRM (Certified Risk Managers).

Local Named President

OCEAN CITY — Ocean City Transportation Director George Thornes was recently elected as president of the Transportation Association of Maryland (TAM). The annual board of director’s elections was held at TAM’s general membership meeting held during its 25th Annual Conference and Tradeshow.

“I do not take my position of leadership at TAM lightly,” said Thornes.  “I believe in TAM’s mission and believe we have the determination as a Board to achieve results for our membership if we are smart in our planning and priority setting.”

TAM is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to serve and represent its members while being dedicated to improving mobility and economic opportunity for all Maryland citizens.
