BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s boys’ varsity basketball team got the second half of its season off to a good start on Tuesday, beating a tough Washington team, 77-73, on the road to improve to 5-3 on the season.

In their first regular season game since the holiday break, the Seahawks traveled to Washington High on a bitterly cold Tuesday evening and edged the Jaguars, 77-73. Next up for Decatur is a home game with county rival Snow Hill tonight, followed by a non-conference road game against Seaford on Monday.
