6th Reindeer Run a Huge Success

BERLIN- The 6th Annual Reindeer Run 5K last Saturday through the heart of downtown Berlin was once again a huge success with over 250 runners competing.
The annual race, which has become a fixture on the local holiday schedule since its inception five years ago, is sponsored by Live Long Fitness. The course started and finished at the Atlantic Hotel and headed down Main Street around the Worcester Prep campus and the Northern Worcester Athletic Complex before ending up back in front of the hotel.
With the town decorated, the event was the perfect kick-off to the holiday season in Berlin. This year, 254 runners competed in the 6th annual event. Dave Rovansek of Berlin finished first, while Berlin’s Bobby Hammond finished second. Finishing in third place was Ben Schofield. Rounding out the top 10 were Tim Robinson, Luke Schofield, Austin Main, Zeus Rodriguez, Lindsay Buckman, who was also the top female finisher, Cory Scott and Brook Diaz.
