Local Wrestlers Succeed in Early Events

WEST OCEAN CITY- The Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, based in West Ocean City, has competed in several early season tournaments throughout the fall and has brought home more than its share of championship hardware.
The Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, under the direction of Coach Keith Tobin and his staff, provides young grapplers in the area with training and mentoring all year long in an effort to provide them with a foundation for future success. The club has participated in numerous tournaments already through the month of November as preliminary events for the upcoming season with great success already.
At the Delaware Fall Classic “Pre-Season Beast of the East” tournament, ESIWC’s Jagger Clapsadle finished first in his weight class. At the MSWA Mike Tyler-Montgomery County Tournament, Anthony Caruso took first in his weight class and the ESIWC also won the trophy for the most falls in a tournament in the quickest amount of time.
At the Cavalier Holiday Tournament, Noah Reho and Clapsadle took first in their respective divisions, while Nico D’Amico took second and Alex Koulikov brought home a third. Kevin Bowne took first in his division at the Virginia Beach Nationals “Battle for the Belt,” and also finished third at the annual Bethlehem Fall Classic tournament in Pennsylvania.
