OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department is again welcoming teams for its adult indoor soccer league for the winter season with an organizational meeting set for next week.
Some of the top indoor soccer players in Maryland and Delaware compete in the annual Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s winter league. Games will be held on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the winter beginning December 14. The season concludes in February with championship playoffs and the winning team will earn a berth in the department’s annual St. Patrick’s Indoor Soccer Tournament.
The league organizational meeting will be held next Tuesday, November 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Northside Park Recreation Complex at 125th Street. The meeting will cover rule changes, league format and other league matters. A $100 deposit from teams will be due at the meeting. The total league fee is $725, which includes all referee fees for a 10-12 game season.
