Temple Bat Yam Holds Annual Simchat Torah Celebration

Temple Bat Yam held its annual Simchat Torah celebration last month at the Temple in Berlin. Simchat Torah is a Jewish holiday that celebrates and marks the end of the annual cycle of public Torah readings and the beginning of a new cycle.  Shown, from left, wearing a tallit (Jewish prayer shawl) are Bette Bohlman and Rabbi Susan Warshaw and holding and unrolling the scroll is Temple President Larry Pack.
